The CCI Local Meetups Program is our in-person program where adoptees 18+, who live in the same area, can meet up and get to know each other. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other adoptees and explore your area.

Hi everybody, my name is Emmy! I was born in Beihai, China and raised in Atlanta, GA. In my free time I like to sing, play piano, read, cook, play video games and go to concerts! I am new to CCI and I am so excited to be your local chapter leader for Atlanta.
Jenny | Boston
Hi hey hello! My name is Jenny and I was adopted from Jiangxi Province when I was 13 months. I currently live in Boston, MA where I work as a Senior Analyst in Market Research. In my free time, I love to hike, rock climb, read, and find great places to eat. I am so excited to be leading the local meetups chapter in Boston and can’t wait to connect with other adoptees.
Danielle | Taipei
Hi there - my name is Danielle! I was born in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry, biology, and global health from Arizona State University and am currently a Fulbright scholar in Taipei, Taiwan, pursuing a master’s degree in global health at National Taiwan University! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, working out, and playing violin in the Taipei Civic Symphony Orchestra!
Having lived in Taiwan for a little over half a year now, I’ve come to realize that there are many unique experiences that Chinese adoptees like myself have living in a Chinese-speaking country, from linguistic differences to cultural engagements, that differ from our non-adopted Chinese peers. Through starting and leading the Taipei CCI local meetups chapter, I hope to connect Chinese adoptee expats here in Taiwan and to create a safe space for us to connect, share stories, engage in conversation, and support each other, while at the same time experiencing the beauties of Taiwan! Hi there! My name is Yana and I was adopted from Hefei, Anhui province. I grew up in Atlanta but have lived in San Diego for a couple years now and love it here! Some of my hobbies include yoga, dancing, reading, and traveling. I am so excited to join CCI as a local chapter leader and to connect with other adoptees living in SoCal.
